Note in Parish register reads "Died at Tannington, place of abode Worlingworth".		 Died: 17 August, buried 23 August 1862, Tomb 140, Worlingworth, Suffolk, age 71.

Notes: From the Ipswich Journal, Saturday 30 May 1835: " 27th inst. died, at his father's house, Tannington Green, in the 45th year of his age, to the inexpressible grief of his widow and 10 children, Mr. Samuel Ray, liquor merchant and grocer, of Worlingworth, a man universally respected, and whose loss will be long and severely felt."

The burial record in the Parish register notes his abode as Needham, in the County of Norfolk.
The 1841 census HO107/1026 F12 P16, shows Charles, a Spirit Merchant with sisters Jane and Mary at Weybread, Suffolk.

Died 16 October, buried 22 October 1821, Worlingworth, Suffolk.
Jane is buried in grave no. 167 with her grandfather William Spurling, who died on the same day.
