Notes: 1871 census, Cornelia was a French Governess at a Ladies' College (Principal Anne Sykes) at Cumberland Lodge, St. Mary Church, Torquay, Devon.
It is recorded in the family notes that in about 1885 Cornelia adopted the Christian names of Constance Mainwaring, she appears on the 1901 census as Constance M.

John Wellesley died 1924, in Durban, South Africa.

PERCY RALPH SIMON born 17 September 1887, Singapore.
1891 census RG12/1042 F103 P18, age 3, boarding with Percy and Maud Myatt at 3 Eden Villas, Denzil Road, Willesden, Middx.
1901 census RG13/46 F10 P11, School boarder, age 13, St. Paul's, Colet Court, Hammersmith.
1911 census RG14/34973 P1, Percy, age 23, Lieutenant R.M.A., on HMS Triumph in the mediterranean.
Percy married his first cousin  AVIS YARBOROUGH SIMON  September qtr 1916, Christchurch dist 2b 1380.
From the London Gazette 5 December 1916,
 "Capt. Percy Ralph Simon, super., is absorbed in estabt, vice Hudleston, promoted. 28th Nov. 1916"
Percy died March qtr 1946, Surrey N.E. dist 2a 191, aged 58.
Avis died April 1987, Yeovil, Somerset, dist 23 1505, aged 94.

1891 census G12/1359 F98 P28, age 13, pupil at Essex House Ladies' School, High Road, Woodford, Essex.
1901 census, with parents, Unmarried, age 23.
Married June 1902, St. George, Hanover Square, London, to Captain CHARLETON WILLIAM GORDON
14th West Yorkshire Regiment, Chinese Regiment and 5th Northumberland Fusiliers.
After becoming a Brigade Major, Charleton Gordon was killed in France in 1914.
There was one son, Charleton Lochinvar Gordon, born 17 April 1905, Kensington, London,
who died in December 1993 at Weymouth, Dorset.  Charleton Lochinvar had taken the surname of Gordon-Steward.
