Notes: At the time of his marriage, John was working as a railway shunter in Derby. He was nicknamed "Shunter Jack".

1911 census, Farming at Grove Farm, Swan Green, Cratfield, Suffolk.
Soon after 1925 he moved to the neighbouring smallholding "Rosslynn" at Cratfield. Buried in Cratfield.		 Notes: Buried at Cratfield with John.

The Daughters:-

ELLA GOOSE  born 25 March 1892, Walsoken, Norfolk. Died 20 May 1958, Cratfield, Suffolk. Unmarried.

GRACE GOOSE  born 27 August 1894, West Walton, Norfolk. Died 19 February 1974. Deben dist 4b 2701.
Grace was Unmarried.
Grace spent most of her working life as a buyer for large stores in Eastbourne and Norwich.
Her favourite story was that whilst sitting on the front at Eastbourne, King George V and Queen Mary
came along and rested on the adjacent seat.
