Herein lie the mortal remains of
Annie de Paravicini his daughter Born 11 April 1853 Died 16 April 1854
Edward Hawkins his son Born 9 November 1859 Died 15 August 1860
Decimus Ray his son Born 11 November 1860 Died 25 January 1862
Caroline his wife Died 10 July 1863 in her 44th year
Dora Sophie their last born child Born 20 April 1863 Died 10 March 1864

Extract from the Bible of George Simon
"My dearly loved wife died Friday July 10th 1863 at 12.30a.m. and was buried at
Norwood Cemetery (temporarily in the Catacombs) by the Rev. M. Anderson
on Tuesday July 14th. May her dear memory ever be cherished by me and our children.
Her dear remains, together with those of our three dear children deceased during her
life-time, and an infant girl still-born, Nov. 12th 1856, were removed to my Vault, in the
Cemetery (myself and the Rev. M. Anderson being present) on Thursday 13th August 1863."
