From the Will of Nicholas Attlesey, (c1664 - 1718)
of Norwich, Norfolk.
In the name of God amen, I, Nicholas Attlesey of ye Citty of Norwich, woosted weaver, being of sounde and disposing mind etc. make this my last Will and testament as followeth. Imprimis I devise to Sarah my Loving wife all my goods and chattels that I now or shall be possessed of at my death for ye paying of my just debts and funeral charges (which I desire may be as moderate as can well be) not doubting in the least but she will dispose of it to my dear children in as just and equal manner as I could and my charge to my dear children is that they continue to show duty to their dear Mother and friendly to each other. In witness etc. this 15th day of February 1718 and do nominate and appoint Sarah my loving wife sole executrix. Witnesses, Peter Parham, Edward Attlesey, Peter Attlesey. Proved 16th March 1718 at Norwich. |
