The inscription reads:
"Sacred to the memory of our beloved father and mother
Hugh John Ingham physician and surgeon who died
17th June 1885 aged 63 years, and
Teresa Ingham (nee McDonnell) who died
27th May 1902 aged 63 years RIP.
Sweet heart of Jesus be thou my love/Sweet heart of Mary be thou my salvation.
Erected in loving and grateful remembrance by their children May, Jack and Jennie 1904"
