| INTRODUCTION GOOSE - from the Dutch "Van der Goese" who settled in the Fenlands of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. At the moment my tree dates back to 1783, to my GGG Grandfather, Leonard Goose born 1785/6 who married Frances Gibson, baptised at Walsoken, near Wisbech, 27 December 1784. So far I am unable to trace the birth of Leonard, the Walsoken Church records are illegible. for that period. Leonard and Frances were married at Walsoken 12 August 1806. Frances was buried at Walsoken 19 November 1823, the same day that their daughter Elizabeth was baptised. Leonard was buried at Walsoken January 1826. They had eleven children. 1. ALICE (1806) Buried 5 September 1808, aged 2. 2. MARY (1807) must have died before Mary (1812) was born. 3. JOHN (1808) my GG Grandfather. 4. WILLIAM (1810) 5. MARY (1812) 6. ALICE (1813) 7.
